Closing out the year with an Authors Party where parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters came into the classroom to hear the stories written and illustrated by those in the classroom.

For Earth Day, the students decorated paper bags from a local grocery store, and then returned them to spread smiles. Such a fun way to educate our youth and build community.

Allie, thanks for reaching out. I am grateful that ___ has a teacher that is willing to work with ___ as you are...so thank you for that. For me my only concern, if this is a trend, I would like to know what we can do as parents to help ___ so that in the future when she is not fortunate enough to have a committed teacher she is still able to succeed.
